Welcome to Riccall Bowling Club’s website.  We are a friendly club of some 30-40 members that operates all the year round with an outdoor season running from mid-April until mid-September and Indoor Short Mat sessions from October to March. Bowlers of all experience or none (we can teach and loan you equipment if necessary) of all ages are welcome. As a Club we aim to offer both social and League bowling to our members. During the outdoor season we run Club nights on a Thursday to encourage social bowling to gain experience of the sport. If you want to be competitive, in addition to our League sides, we have our own internal competitions. We also have social and practice sessions for the short mat format game on Wednesday afternoons from September until March. We run teams in the Selby Fours and Triples, Selby Ladies, . and York Private Clubs Leagues in the outdoor season, whilst we have two teams playing in the Selby Short Mat Fours and Triples Leagues during the rest of the year. Also we participate in knockout cup competitions as well as having occasional friendly games with other local and touring side clubs.
